The Collective for Ottawa Rope Education (CORE) hopes to cultivate a passion for rope across Ottawa (Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦) by creating inclusive classes and gathering a diversity of members of different communities, genders, abilities, ages, socio-economics, and sexual orientations.
As of 2022, CORE is an official Akechi-ryū Kanna lineage (Kanna-ryū) school, teaching Nawashi Akechi Kanna style (semenawa). CORE is the only currently active school in North America authorized to teach the style.
CORE also offers private classes, from the top and the bottom perspective.
